About the role

We are seeking reliable, experienced Medical Receptionist/ Office Administrator to join the team at Sapphire Family Medical Practice in the Sydney Eastern Suburbs. This position is approximately 24-30 hours per week. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our busy medical practice.

Please only apply if you have medical or dental reception experience and Best Practice software experience

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

Efficiently managing patient bookings, enquiries and records

Assisting with the coordination of appointments, referrals and test results

Providing administrative support to the medical team, including invoicing, scanning , answering calls , assistIng practice manager with accreditation.

Maintaining the practice's inventory and supplies

Processing payments and managing the medical practice's finances

Ensuring compliance with relevant medical and administrative policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a medical receptionist in a Medical Practice

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, medical staff and other stakeholders in a professional and empathetic manner

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in using medical practice management software Best Practice or equivalent and Microsoft Office

Knowledge of medical software Best Practice or equivalent ,terminology and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and compliance requirements

A caring and compassionate attitude, with a genuine interest in providing quality healthcare

Team player who is able to work on their own independently

must be efficient and able to multitask
