Our mission is to shape a world where people eat better. As a supervisor you are the gatekeeper of your department, the people who work within it, and the food that it produces.
A Pastry Supervisor plays a crucial leadership role in our pastry team, responsible for overseeing the production of our high-quality artisan goods. Enhancing a reputation that is centred around providing simple, high-quality food to our local community, made with local ingredients, at a fair price.
This role will present a challenge. We are technically a larger bakery, however we believe in producing artisanal style products and want to stay away from being a "factory" even though we joke about it in our name. We want to introduce as many people as possible to our food, but we want to do it in a way that speaks to our beliefs and doesn't cut corners.
We need an individual who is going to help us along that journey. Someone who is passionate about food, and wants to share that passion with our customers and our team. Someone who wants to be a teacher, who can spend a day talking to their peers about lamination, and then go and share that knowledge with their team in the pursuit of the perfect croissant x 2,000.
