We are seeking a reliable and experienced Retail supervisor to join our team at Eucla General outlets. This is a full time role based in a remote but vital location along the Eyre Highway, 12km west of the WA/SA border.

As a retail supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing inventory and staff, and ensuring a high level of customer service in a fast paced, self contained isolated environment.

Tasks and Resposibilities

Supervise the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels; place and receive supplier orders as needed.

Assess and develop product lines and new opportunities and their implementation.

Train and supervise subordinate staff, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to store policies and standards.

Operate POS systems and process sales transactions efficiently and accurately.

Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.

Prepare basic reports relating to sales, stock, and staffing. - daily, monthly and seasonal.

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, hygiene, and food handling standards.

Maintain Building cleanliness and merchandise presentation at all times.

Maintenance includes organising and supervising, cleaning and maintenance of equipment and refrigeration.

Possess strong analytical girls for problem solving

Perform occasional manual handling tasks including unpacking stock deliveries.

Due to remoteness and isolation, you need to oversee and ensure the healthy welfare of staff.
