Performing with high autonomy, this rewarding career position will report to the Managing Director and be closely aligned with and supportive to the senior leadership team. Specific key responsibilities will include;
Managing and mentoring a team of field service technicians and support staff.
Overseeing service delivery to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborating with the service team to optimise scheduling, routing, and resource allocation.
Maintaining strong client relationships and acting as the escalation point for service-related issues.
Managing inventory, tools, and company vehicles to ensure operational readiness.
Ensuring compliance with contracts, scopes of work, and company procedures.
Essential to your success, you will demonstrate the following competencies;
Proven experience in a service management or operations leadership role.
Strong technical understanding (formal qualifications not essential).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong technical knowledge in automated packaging machines is highly regarded.
CAD experience in designing turnkey bespoke manufacturing / process automation systems.
Personal qualities you demonstrate include;
Professional presentation supported by solid self-confidence, solutions focus and sound communication skills.
A high level of professional tenacity, commercial nous, resilience & self-motivation.
A strong attention to detail, a logical & process driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills and an engaging team leadership style is expected
You are holistically enthusiastic, hands on and results and deadline driven.
You will also demonstrate an inquisitive mindset towards food manufacturing processes whilst playing a key part in driving customer success and forging long-term customer relationships.
