Standard Access Pty Ltd is a leading provider of vertical access solutions for the construction industry. We specialise in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of access equipment, with a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and performance.
We’re expanding with the launch of a new Service Centre and are looking for an experienced and motivated Service Manager to run our growing team.
The Role
The Service Manager leads and manages a small service team responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of wire rope hoists, fall arrest devices, and the conduct of wire rope swagging services. The Service Manager ensures efficient management and servicing of client assets, company tools, and equipment. This role upholds high-quality service delivery, compliance with safety standards, customer satisfaction, and continuous operational improvement in the service department.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
Supervise and coordinate a small team of service technicians and support staff.
Plan, schedule, and oversee daily service jobs involving wire rope hoists, fall arrest devices, and wire rope swagging
Ensure all inspections, maintenance, repairs, and swagging are delivered to company and industry standards.
Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding service arrangements, scheduling, asset status, and technical support.
Resolve client issues promptly and promote long-term customer satisfaction.
Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines and company safety procedures
About You
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, skilled, and passionate about mechanical/electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have:
A valid NSW Driver’s Licence
A current Forklift Licence
A White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Experience in a service or maintenance-based environment, preferably with lifting or safety equipment.
Mechanical or electrical background is highly beneficial, but not essential.
Demonstrated leadership or coordination experience.
Knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulations.
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with asset management is desirable.
Familiarity with wire rope hoisting, fall protection equipment, and swagging tools/processes. Desirable
