The opportunity

As a Leading Hand with Mastac Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the hands-on leadership and guides of the crews while staying active in the daily operations of the construction sites. Our Yard is based in Caboolture and work throughout Brisbane & Moreton Bay area this position offers the chance to be part of an established and respected civil contracting company.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and direct a team of concreters, labourers, landscapers and machine operators to ensure efficient and high-quality construction finishes

To coordinate construction works and address any issues that arise and Liaise with site managers, project engineers and other stakeholders

Inspect and assess completed construction works to ensure they meet required standards and specifications

Monitor and maintain tools, equipment and materials to optimise site productivity

What we're looking for

Significant experience as a civil contractor, with a proven track record of leading and coordinating teams

Strong knowledge of civil construction, concreting and landscaping as well as the ability to read and interpret site plans and drawings

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with team members, site managers

Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities

Commitment to delivering high-quality work and promoting a safe work environment

Construction industry qualifications ( White Card) or certifications, such as a Certificate III in Concreting, would be highly regarded.
