About the company/role:
Are you a formulation expert with a passion for innovation? Our Client, a TGA-licensed leader in complementary medicines and bio-fermented products, are seeking a Product Development Manager to lead new product development and continuous improvement initiatives within their fully equipped, in-house R&D lab.

This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with occasional overtime during product trial phases.

Duties will include:

• Drive product innovation from concept to commercialisation using pilot-scale equipment (tablet press, coater, encapsulation).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, QA, and Production to deliver market-ready, compliant formulations.
• Optimise manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Lead and mentor R&D staff while maintaining a GMP-compliant lab environment.

Skills/experience:

• Degree in Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field.
• 3+ years in product development or R&D (preferably in TGA-regulated environments).
• Strong formulation, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (TGA, FSANZ, GMP) and proficiency in formulation tools.
