Providing specialist sexual assault and family violence programs and services, including 24 hour crisis care support, case management, therapeutic counselling, early intervention and professional education and training, we continue to grow and develop our offerings.
The People and Culture (P&C) Business Partner delivers best practice, integrated human resource function across the organisation. The focus of the role is to build a genuine business partner relationship with key internal stakeholders to enable them to meet their operational and strategic goals.
The P&C Business Partner will develop professional relationships across the organisation and act as a trusted partner and industrial relations advisor to the management team for people and employment issues and is responsible for providing sound and timely advice across the employee lifecycle.
The role will respond to employee relations and industrial relations matters, organisational development, recruitment and support the evolution of the organisation’s culture and capability through innovative HR practices.

- Operate as a strategic partner to deliver technical and operational human resource advice across a range of areas such as workforce planning, performance management, issue resolution and human resource programs and policy
- Provide advice and support the CEO, Executive or Senior Managers, Senior WHS Lead on emerging and complex workplace issues.
- Review, interpret and provide sound direction on complex legislation and/or industrial relations issues relevant to human resources management.
- Working in collaboration with leaders, provide high level direction in relation to HR policy, change management, industrial relations, performance management and employment relations.
- Make day to day decisions and provide guidance and high level direction on the appropriate course of action that might be taken to address human resources issues
- Build collaborative relationships that ensure cooperation and commitment to achieve effective people strategies and programs
- Prioritise and manage multiple tasks and demands including matters with critical turnaround times.
- Identify and deliver human resource initiatives in partnership with program areas to build performance that supports people and organisational objectives
- Partner with leaders to provide end to end advice and support for change initiatives to support continuous improvement
- Develop, implement and maintain fully integrated policies, systems and practices that reflect contemporary approaches and meet legislative and business requirements.
- Provide regular reporting and analytical workforce data and HR metrics in relation to organisational design, workforce planning and strategic planning to meet organisational requirements.
- Share knowledge as a multi-disciplinary team, sharing lessons learnt facilitating cross learning and mentoring team members to build technical expertise and best practice.
- Support the team including coverage for leave, projects and workload support as required.
