The Role

As a Senior Business Services Accountant, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of clients and delivering tailored accounting and advisory solutions. Working closely with partners and junior staff, you’ll have the opportunity to lead client engagements and contribute to the ongoing growth of the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and review financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals

Provide proactive business and tax advisory services to clients

Assist with tax planning, structuring, and compliance issues

Supervise and mentor junior team members

Maintain strong client relationships and identify value-add opportunities

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and accounting standards

About You

CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)

Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in business services or public practice accounting

Strong technical knowledge in accounting, tax, and compliance

Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset

Experience with cloud-based systems (Xero, MYOB, etc.)

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
