About The Role
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Disability Support Workers to provide participant-centered care to individuals with complex behavioural support needs. You will play a vital role in promoting independence, safety, emotional wellbeing and help our clients lead meaningful, fulfilling lives through community based supports.

Infinite Disability Services (IDS) offer a variety of person centered support to enrich our participants lives and help them reach a life of independence. Our disability services span across the whole of the Illawarra, Southern Highlands and parts of the South Coast.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement Behaviour Support Plans and follow Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies
- Support clients with daily living activities including personal care, meal prep, and community access
- Monitor and document behavioural incidents and progress
- Use de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed approaches
- Collaborate with allied health professionals, families, and behaviour practitioners
- Maintain compliance with NDIS standards and restrictive practice authorisations
Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid certification
- CPR certification (obtained within the past year)
- Full NSW Driver’s License
- Working With Children Check (if applicable)
- Completion of NDIS Orientation Module
- COVID-19 vaccination, including booster
- CPI Safety Interventions Certificate or equivalent
What We’re Looking For:
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent
- PBS training or experience
- Mental Health First Aid
- Experience with autism, intellectual disability, or acquired brain injury
- Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours
- Willingness to provide community access support (own vehicle/transport required)
- Experience with medication administration and personal care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
