About the role

IDEA Innovative Disability Engagement Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a casual Complex Care – Female Disability Support Worker to join our team in Point Frederick NSW 2250 And Hamlyn Terrace 2259. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with complex care needs.

What you'll be doing

Providing high-quality personal care and support to individuals with complex disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, social engagement, and community participation

Implementing individualised support plans and working closely with the client, their family, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes

Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the individuals in your care, adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements

Maintaining accurate records and providing detailed reports on the individuals' progress and support needs

Collaborating with the wider team to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in the disability or aged care sector, such as a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent

Experience in providing complex care to individuals with a range of disabilities, including physical, intellectual, and cognitive impairments

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and problem-solving skills

A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with complex care needs

A current First Aid, CPR certificate and a valid driver's licence
