Are you a passionate and culturally aware Disability Support Worker looking to make a real difference?

At Therapy Care, we are urgently seeking male support workers to assist a male participant aged 25–30 based in Blacktown/Colebee. This participant has complex behaviour support needs and requires confident, reliable support workers who can build strong rapport and provide consistent, person-centred care.

What We’re Looking For:
We strongly encourage applications from Fijian or Pacific Islander males, particularly those who can speak the Bauan dialect (preferred but not essential). The ideal candidate will also share interests in:

Marvel and Disney movies

Horror films

Health and fitness/physical activity

About the Role:

Support a young male participant with complex behaviours and epilepsy

Assist with daily routines, personal care, and domestic activities

Provide community access and encourage participation in healthy, engaging routines

Help implement behaviour support and epilepsy management strategies (full training provided)

Build long-term, trusting relationships with the participant and their family

To Be Successful, You’ll Need:

Experience supporting clients with complex behaviours or strong willingness to learn

Flexible availability for a rotating roster

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to set professional boundaries

A calm, confident, and engaging approach to support

Mandatory Requirements:

NSW Driver Licence and reliable, insured vehicle

Working With Children Check, Police Check, and NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain)

COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (or valid exemption)

Physically fit and confident working with active clients
