On the job training
Importance of the Inventory and Logistics Co-ordinator at Brandis Hire:
A day in the life will consist of stock and inventory management, ensuring equipment is kept clean and maintained, check in/out process and perform function checks. You will be working independently in a warehouse setting with collaboration and occasional support from a small Sales team!
Ensuring accurate stock management, including equipment check-in/out, functional testing, maintenance coordination, and stocktaking.
Preparing equipment for dispatch and making sure it meets customer expectations.
Booking and coordinating freight deliveries and collections.
Coordinating stock movements between branches.
Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely order processing and delivery of goods.
Address any supply chain issues, such as delays or missing items, to keep operations running smoothly.
Help organise and clean the warehouse, ensuring items are stored safely and efficiently.
Carrying out routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles, including washing and organising servicing
About You
We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. A keen eye for detail and willingness to learn and grow within the role in a technical industry. To join our team, we are on the lookout for;
Must be able to speak fluent English and communicate effectively.
Must have the right to live and work in Australia with Australian driver’s license.
Physical capability to handle manual tasks, such as loading/unloading equipment.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
The ability to manage your time and prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
Basic understanding or willingness to learn about electrical test and measurement equipment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving.
Previous experience or exposure to the electrical industry or Hire industry (desirable, but not essential)
