Breakfast Supervisor – Permanent Part-Time (Min. 20 hrs/week)

We’re on the lookout for a reliable and experienced Breakfast Supervisor to take charge of our morning service at Mercure Centro. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong barista skills, a high level of independence, and experience in hotels or cafés.
You’ll be the key person running the shift, taking ownership of the guest experience, coffee service, and stock control. While you may coach other team members at times, you’ll mostly be operating independently. Strong communication and regular reporting into F&B leadership is essential to keeping service smooth and standards high.
What the role involves:
-Running the daily breakfast shift – from set-up to pack-down
-Delivering high-quality coffee and warm, efficient guest service
-Managing breakfast and coffee stock - ordering, rotation, and cost control
-Coaching and supporting junior staff when rostered alongside you
-Communicating effectively and reporting into the F&B leadership team
-Coordinating with the kitchen and hotel teams to ensure seamless service
What we’re looking for:
-Strong barista knowledge and pace
-Previous experience in hotels or busy cafés/restaurants essential
-Organised, dependable, and able to take full ownership of your shift
-Proactive in managing stock, using systems effectively, and maintaining open communication with leadership
-Available for early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
