About the role

Robyn's Nest Lakeside Resort Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team in Merimbula, NSW. This is a part-time role that will see you taking on a pivotal position within our hospitality operations. As the Front of House Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth running of our resort's brand-new function centre and restaurant.

What you'll be doing

Supervising front-of-house of our brand new function centre and restaurant.

25 to 40 hours per week, over 5-6 days, Tuesday through to Sunday.

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the function centre and restaurant, ensuring efficient and professional service

Handling customer enquiries, complaints, and concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and courteous manner

Optimising front-of-house processes and procedures to improve customer experience and operational efficiency

Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination

Reporting on front-of-house performance metrics and recommending improvements

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a front-of-house supervisory role within the hospitality industry

Strong initiative and people skills.

Excellent customer service orientation, with the ability to provide a high level of guest satisfaction

Proficient in using POS and restaurant management systems and other front-of-house technology

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think on your feet

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
