About the role

Porter House Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at one of our establishment Bohemian Euro Restaurant in Narellan, NSW. As a Part Time or Casual Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vibrant restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience for our guests.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate the front-of-house team, including servers, hosts and bartenders, to provide friendly and efficient service

Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation throughout the restaurant

Address customer inquiries and handle any complaints or issues in a professional and courteous manner

Assist in scheduling staff shifts and ensuring adequate coverage for each service

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery

Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, daily specials and wine list to provide recommendations to customers

Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed

Contribute to the development and implementation of new policies, procedures and initiatives to improve restaurant operations

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or café setting

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

Thorough understanding of food safety, liquor licensing and other relevant regulations

Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and inventory management software

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required

Experienced in German or European Cuisine preferred.
