As part of their ongoing commitment to operational excellence, they are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join their team on a casual basis 3 days per week [flexible with the days].

About the Role

This is a specialised auditing role requiring an individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate and reconcile financial data across various business functions. Reporting directly to company directors and working closely with the senior management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct internal audits of financial records and processes.

Identify discrepancies, irregularities, or inefficiencies in financial documentation.

Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.

Collaborate with department heads to improve financial controls and reporting standards.

Prepare audit reports and present findings with actionable recommendations.

Support compliance with regulatory and tax obligations.

Provide clear communication and trusted insights to company directors.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualifications and Certifications in Accounting and/or Bookkeeping.

Proven experience in a Reconciliation role[s].

Strong understanding of reconciliation processes.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
