About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Big 4-trained Senior Financial Accountant to step into a contract role where they can make an immediate impact. You’ll support the financial reporting function and work closely with the wider finance team during a period of increased activity. Ideal for someone on a 417 Working Holiday Visa with solid audit experience and at least 6 months in a commercial setting.

This is ideal for a qualified audit 1st mover or a 2nd mover with some commercial experience.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review statutory financial statements (AASB/IFRS)

Manage year-end and month-end close processes

Liaise with external auditors and assist with audit readiness

Assist with financial year end audit process

Assist with financial controls and process improvements

Ensure general ledger accuracy and integrity

Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights

About You

CA/CPA/ ACA qualified with 4+ years of audit experience

Ideal to have 6 months plus post audit accounting experience

Strong working knowledge of AASB/IFRS

Ideal to have NetSuite experience but not essential

Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying improvements
