The Position

We’re currently seeking an experienced Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator to join our well-established and growing cosmetics contract manufacturing company. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of purchasing and planning responsibilities, working across departments, and contributing to a high-performing team.

Some on the job duties include but are not limited to the following:

Ensure stock is ordered correctly, on time and with appropriate COA's & Specs

Ensure cost effectiveness in purchasing decisions

Manage inventory and maintain accurate records

Collaborate with internal teams to meet production schedules

Creating and managing purchase orders

Coordinating with overseas / local suppliers and freight forwarders

Coordinating with clients with client supplied packaging to ensure packaging arrivals are in line with production scheduling

Monitoring stock levels, identifying risks, and escalating as needed

Tracking ETAs and working closely with warehouse teams on arrivals

Updating order statuses, landed costs, and supplier invoices

Generating regular supply planning reports

Supporting team members and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives

Selection Criteria:

5+ years’ experience in purchasing role with strong negotiation experience

Experience in stock management and inventory control

Background in cosmetics, skincare, chemical purchasing (highly regarded)

Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Intermediate to advanced Excel / technical proficiency

A problem-solving mindset and ability to manage competing priorities

A team-first approach and willingness to assist others where needed

Excellent communication skills and team player

A strong work ethic

Exposure to Cosmetics / GMP / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing advantageous

Strong attention to detail

Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
