Work with a respected infrastructure contractor delivering both subdivisions and TMR works across SEQ. This role offers high responsibility, daily variety, and a clear path toward Senior HSE Management

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the implementation of safety policies and systems across project sites
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and proactively managing risk
• Conducting safety audits and performance reviews
• Monitoring safety metrics and analyzing data to inform decision-making
• Providing expert guidance on subcontractor management
• Delivering continuous support, coaching, and training to project teams.

About You:
You are a safety-focused professional with a proactive mindset and strong communication skills. You bring a practical approach to driving safety outcomes and the ability to lead cultural change on-site.
You will also have:

• A Certificate IV or higher in Occupational Health and Safety
• Proven experience in a safety role within a project-based environment, ideally in civil construction
• Demonstrated ability to influence and improve safety outcomes with subcontractors and direct employees
• Strong understanding of safety legislation, policies, and implementation best practices
• Sound knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental management system standards
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the business
• Proficient computer skills, including data analysis and reporting
• Strategic thinking capability aligned with both client and internal goals
• Experience conducting audits and investigations, and formulating improvement plans
• A strong grasp of safety culture and experience implementing related systems in project environments
