The Opportunity
This builder/developer is ramping up for an exciting growth period and is looking to appoint an experienced HSE Advisor to support delivery of one of their upcoming projects in Brisbane. You’ll either be assigned to a new $50mil - $60mil build or their upcoming $140mil development – each multi-residential projects in inner city Brisbane with full project teams in place.
You’ll kick off around late August or early September, giving you time to prepare and hit the ground running.

Internal promotions are the norm here – their PMs, Construction Manager, and Foremen have all worked their way up. They also take a modern approach to reviews and goal setting, and genuinely back their team with support, flexibility, and recognition.

What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Safety Manager and Project Manager, you’ll:

• Deliver and implement site-specific HSE plans and systems
• Lead toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety training sessions
• Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections
• Maintain compliance with SWMS, WHS legislation, and environmental requirements
• Drive a positive and proactive safety culture on-site

What You Bring

• Safety experience in commercial multi-residential construction
• Experience on $50mil+ apartment builds
• Cert IV in Work Health and Safety or similar
