B & Z Enterprise Pty Ltd has been trading as Kazi's Supermarket (Grocery and Halal Butchery), Mount Druitt, NSW. Kazi's Supermarket is a retail shop of Asian products, groceries, halal meats and other premium daily needs. The supermarket sells most of the grocery items usually for Asian communities. The market has a diverse range of products and pantry essentials.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Retail Shop Manager (Full-time). The candidate must have experience in retail management and day-to-day operation of a retail shop.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading and managing day-to-day operations of our retail store located in Mount Druitt, NSW. You will oversee all aspects of store performance, driving sales and customer service standards as a top priority, along with staff development, training and performance management. You have to develop and implement effective sales and profit strategies aligned with the business goals; ensure available stocks of the grocery items; fix the prices of the products in consultation with the director; promote and advertise all grocery products with high visual merchandising standards; respond to any customer’s queries and ensure excellent customer service; lead the store team, overseeing staffing, training, performance management, and rostering; and record data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions.

About You

Previous experience in any retail shop, preferably in an Asian Grocery store

• Strong management and communication skills

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

Multilingual, including Benali and Hindi language will be preferred
