Position Summary

The Retail Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing daily operations of The Lifestyle Co.’s menswear retail store and wholesale showroom to maximise sales and profitability. The role oversees product mix, purchasing and pricing policies, marketing activities, staff supervision, and compliance with workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Determine the product mix, stock levels, and service standards for the retail and wholesale store.

Formulate and implement purchasing policies, marketing strategies, and pricing structures.

Promote and advertise the company’s clothing and accessories to attract retail and wholesale customers.

Sell goods and services directly to customers and advise them on product selection and use.

Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, and financial transactions.

Undertake budgeting for the store and monitor financial performance against targets.

Control the selection, training, rostering, and supervision of store staff to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.

Ensure the store’s operations comply with all relevant occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.

Key Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a Retail Manager or Assistant Manager in clothing retail or wholesale.

Knowledge of the Australian clothing retail and wholesale industry.

Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.

Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets.

Solid organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Competent with POS systems and basic stock management software.

Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required.
