About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper & Operations Support to join our small but dynamic team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping experience who also enjoys hands-on operational tasks, particularly in supply chain coordination and order & stock management.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping

Manage day-to-day accounting tasks using MYOB AccountRight.

Process invoices and allocate COGS accurately

Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards account

Process accounts payable and receivable

Prepare and submit BAS, payroll, and superannuation

Maintain accurate financial records and assist with weekly & monthly reporting

Liaise with external accountants as needed

Operations / Supply Chain

Process and manage purchase orders and sales orders

Coordinate with suppliers, both domestic and international suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely shipments and deliveries

Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory tracking

Support preparation of shipping documents and customs paperwork

Update internal shipment and inventory spreadsheets

Assist with forecasting, costing, and supply planning

Skills & Experience

Prior bookkeeping experience is essential.

Demonstrated experience in an administrative role.

Background in administration or operational support.

Proficiency in MYOB AccountRight or similar accounting software.

Previous experience in ERP system is preferred, but not essential.

Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly in Excel.

Familiarity with supply chain, EDI, B2B system, logistics, or order processing is highly desirable.

Excellent attention to detail and time management

Strong communication skills – written and verbal

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team

Strong organisational and time management skills

Full working rights in Australia are required

Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification
