Position Details
- Full-Time, Permanent Position
- Classification: SCHADS Level 2 with a salary range of: $66,077 - $72,124; per annum + Superannuation

About your new role
The Operational Support Officer plays a key role in the smooth functioning of the Step A & Step B services at Mascot by providing high-quality, responsive administrative support to the multidisciplinary teams. Working closely with the Service Managers of each program the Operational Support Officer helps ensure that smooth day-to-day operations run efficiently and in alignment with person-centred, trauma-informed service principles.
This role is responsible for a wide range of administrative functions including scheduling, program vehicles, data entry, purchasing, coordination of onboarding processes, and support for reporting and quality systems. The Operational Support Officer will also contribute to creating a welcoming, organised, inclusive and safe environment for both staff and service users.

What you will bring to the role
- Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience working in a computerised environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and digital collaboration tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail, taking initiative to support workload, and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A flexible, team-oriented approach to supporting a multidisciplinary case management teams
- A commitment to culturally safe, inclusive, and appropriate service delivery for service users
What the role requires
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (police check) - disclosable outcomes considered
- Current Working with Children Check - required before commencement of work
- Current Australian drivers licence and access to a car
- Australian working rights
