A well-established and highly respected public practice firm based in Chatswood is looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their growing team. With a team of over 40 professionals and a national network of offices, the firm provides full-service solutions across Business Services, Tax, Audit, SMSF, Financial Planning, and Commercial Advisory.

The Opportunity

In this role, you'll gain exposure to high-quality clients, working across a range of industries including high-net-worth individuals, family groups, and businesses with turnovers up to $200 million.

Your Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients

Reconcile accounts, manage accounts payable/receivable, and process payroll

Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and Superannuation obligations

Assist in preparing management reports and cash flow statements

Liaise directly with clients and build strong, ongoing relationships

Work collaboratively with accountants and advisors across the business

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 3+ years of bookkeeping experience in public practice or a bookkeeping firm

Strong working knowledge of Xero (and ideally Xero Practice Manager)

Confident with BAS/IAS preparation, payroll, and end-of-month processes

High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional attitude

Cert IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (or higher qualification) preferred
