About the Role

A successful candidate for this opportunity will have a passion for Education, Sales, Relationship Management, and is Results Driven with an Entrepreneurial Spirit. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting, cultivating, and establishing new relationships with parents and decision-makers in our community.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify and qualify potential leads through research, outreach, and engagement.
  2. Utilize various channels, including online platforms, community events, and partnerships, to generate interest and awareness about Spark Education's learning center.
  3. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, schools, and educational organizations.
  4. Act as a primary point of contact to address inquiries, provide information, and build rapport with prospective students and their families.
  5. Conduct compelling sales presentations that highlight the unique value proposition of our math lessons. Collaborate with the teachers' team to understand program offerings, curriculum details, and the learning environment to effectively communicate these benefits.
  6. Tailor conversations to address the specific needs and concerns of potential students and their parents through consultative selling techniques.
  7. Plan and coordinate participation in local events, fairs, and community outreach programs to promote the Centre.
  8. Represent the Centre at relevant education gatherings and conferences to enhance brand visibility and attract new students.
  9. Maintain a detailed record of interactions and engagements with leads using CRM software.
  10. Implement effective follow-up strategies to nurture leads through the enrollment process.
  11. Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and educational developments to provide insights for strategic planning.
  12. Generate regular reports on sales activities, lead conversion rates, and other relevant performance metrics.
  13. Provide feedback and recommendations to optimize the business development and sales processes.

Qualifications Required

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  2. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a must.
  3. At least 3 years of proven experience in business development and sales, preferably within the education or tutoring sector. Demonstrating success in achieving sales targets and cultivating long-term relationships.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Including the ability to articulate any relevant complex educational concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  5. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to understand and address the unique needs of parents and students.
  6. Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant sales and marketing tools.
  7. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced and evolving start up company.
  8. Flexibility to adjust strategies and wear multiple hats depending on the Center's needs.
  9. Ability to respond appropriately to feedback, mentoring and coaching
  10. Genuine enthusiasm for promoting math education and a commitment to the learning success of students.

Compensation

· Competitive salary commensurate with experience and performance-based bonus, OTE from 70K -110K annually.
