ABOUT THE ROLE

The Business Development Sales Rep is based in our BUSY Sunshine North Office, Trade Counter and Showroom.

This role has a foundation of day-to-day work involving quote preparation; following up quotes; lead generation and outbound calls to established customers to organize visits for our external sales reps and make sure customers are happy. The role requires a person with an excellent phone manner and the ability to listen, understand and decipher what the customer requires (training is provided).

Additionally, this role conducts showroom sales, which is a great learning experience that reinforces customer perspectives and product knowledge that supports the core role in outbound sales.

ABOUT YOU

The successful person will have the ability to multi-task and prioritize. The position requires someone who is positive and friendly with excellent phone manner. You'll need to be comfortable selling technical products (lots of training provided).

We are looking for someone who wants to settle into our team for the long term and grow with the company (job hoppers who only want to stay for a couple of years or so need not apply).

We highly value people with initiative who are proactive in finding better ways to do things and going above and beyond to ensure customers are thrilled with our service. This role is very busy: lots of competing demands with retail customers and ringing phones - if you thrive on pressure please proceed. If you like a quiet life, then this job is not for you!

Office hours: 7.30am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
