Shades of Elegance (SOE) is a leading manufacturer and B2B supplier of premium roller blinds, outdoor blinds, and curtains. With a strong focus on quality, customisation, and customer experience, we are growing our footprint across Australia and looking for a passionate and driven Sales Development Representative to help us grow our client base.
About the Role
As an Sales Development Representative at SOE, your primary responsibility is to generate qualified leads, initiate conversations with potential B2B customers (retailers, designers, builders), and support our sales pipeline growth. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, nurturing relationships, and setting up meetings for our account managers and directors.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and identify potential B2B customers through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and industry research
Qualify inbound and outbound leads and convert them into sales opportunities
Schedule meetings and demos for the senior sales team
Maintain and update CRM with accurate lead and customer information
Work closely with the marketing team to execute lead generation campaigns
Follow up on past inquiries, quotes, and dormant accounts
Represent SOE's values and product offerings with professionalism and product knowledge
What We're Looking For
1–3 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or customer engagement (preferably B2B)
Strong communication skills – written and verbal
Confident and comfortable with cold outreach and proactive engagement
Highly organised, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus
Experience in window furnishings, interiors, or building industry is an advantage but not essential
Must have valid work rights to work in Australia
Ability to achieve monthly KPIs: 100 qualified leads, 50 meetings booked
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
