About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Medianet, a well-established and leading B2B media intelligence software organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the strategic advantage of Medianet by maintaining the highest quality and relevancy of our Australian and New Zealand media data and best in class customer support. Through proactive engagement with both journalists and customers, this role ensures that media contacts receive the most relevant media releases for their area of coverage and media professionals are supported in their communication with the media.

We are looking to expand our dedicated team and are eager to welcome the perfect candidate who is as excited about the media as we are. This role can be based either in Sydney or Melbourne.

Responsibilities include:

Ensure the highest level of accuracy of the information within the Contacts Database.

Ensure a high level of support is provided to subscribers and media contacts.

Identify and research new media contacts and outlets.

Develop professional relationships with key media contacts in order to enhance future updates and journalist adoption of our services.

Maintain knowledge of the Australian media landscape. Regularly monitor the media for changes to editorial staff for database updates.

Respond to subscriber and journalist queries in a timely and professional manner providing a positive outcome wherever possible.

Maintain knowledge of procedures related to research processes and support, ensuring they are adhered to.

1-2 years experience in a media or data accuracy environment.

Enjoys building and maintaining positive business relationships.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google suite.
