About the Role
The District Administration Support Officer (Permanent) is part of a dynamic team within the Central, South and East Operations District Administration Department and is responsible for providing administrative support to the District Business Manager in Central District, and assist the District Administration Team, Command staff and fire stations with their requirements. The position will coordinate and support community events, marketing activities and projects undertaken by the District.
Key functions will include conducting research, analysis and investigation to support information and decision-making requirements of the district including investigation and documenting routine matters referred by functional and operational staff.
What you will need to Succeed
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
Demonstrated experience in proficient use of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
Experience in a business support or in an administration position will be favourable.
