About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Information Technology Support Officer to join our team at Gindaja Treatment and Healing Indigenous Corporation in Yarrabah, Queensland. This is a part-time role, 0.8 hours a week, offering the flexibility to balance your work and personal commitments.

What you'll be doing

Providing first-line IT support and troubleshooting to end-users, including resolving hardware, software and network-related issues

Maintaining and updating IT systems, software and equipment to ensure optimal performance

Assisting with the implementation and configuration of new technologies

Documenting IT processes and procedures to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Collaborating with QAIHC IT team to identify and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience in a similar IT support role, preferably within a community-based or not-for-profit organisation

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of IT-related issues

Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and common business software applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical end-users

Proactive and adaptable approach, with a keen interest in learning and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field would be highly regarded
