About the role

As the Motel Manager at Blueys Motel, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of this well-established beachside accommodation. In this full-time role, you will be located at Blueys Beach NSW 2428, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and memorable stay at our premier motel.

What you'll be doing

Manage all aspects of motel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance

Oversee staff scheduling, training, and supervision to maintain high levels of customer service

Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner

Manage the motel's budget, inventory, and procurement processes

Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue

Ensure compliance with all relevant hospitality industry regulations and standards

Collaborate with the broader management team to continuously improve the guest experience

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to lead and motivate a team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and inventory control

Experience with hospitality software and technology systems

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field
