WANTED: Customer Service-Driven Motel Management Couple

We’re a busy, family-owned motel located in the heart of Young, NSW, and we’re seeking a professional, motivated couple to take over the day-to-day operations. This is a permanent live-in opportunity ideal for a couple with a passion for hospitality, exceptional customer service, and strong management skills.
Our property features 15 newly renovated motel rooms and 8 serviced apartments, offering guests comfort and convenience in a vibrant regional town.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of daily motel operations: guest services, reservations, housekeeping coordination, and maintenance
Deliver warm, professional customer service to ensure a memorable guest experience
Manage OTA platforms and RMS booking system
Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and suppliers
Supervise and work alongside a housekeeping team of five (offsite linen service)
Provide light room service breakfasts, with occasional cooked options
Care for two affectionate, well-behaved cats that live on the premises
What We’re Looking For
A couple with proven motel or hospitality management experience
Your own ABN (Australian Business Number)
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Self-motivated, hands-on approach with attention to detail
Comfortable with basic maintenance and troubleshooting
Tech-savvy with experience in booking systems and online reservations
Animal lovers—our two cats are part of the family
