Ivanhoe Hotel is on the hunt for a Venue Manager to take this hotel to the next level!

We are seeking a natural leader for a full-time Venue Manager position to join our team at the Ivanhoe Hotel under the banner of Black Rhino Group. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and vibrant environment, overseeing a venue with 100 EGM's with the latest game offerings, and an accommodating sports bar.

As a Venue Manager, you will have the autonomy to implement your ideas and drive the success of your venue. You will work closely with the Group's senior management team, shaping a dynamic culture for the venue and its team in alignment with our strategic plans. Your input will be valued in identifying areas for development and driving the performance of the venue.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Accountability: Hands-on leadership and accountability of your team, including supervision and evaluation of performances.

Customer Service: Creating and maintaining an atmosphere where customer service standards can thrive, ensuring a high level of satisfaction among our patrons.

Sales and Budget Management: Driving sales to meet your targets and budgets, contributing to the overall financial success of the venue.

Product Management: Product procurement and creating quality food and beverage offers that meet the expectations of our clientele.

Cost Control: Controlling operational costs to maximize profitability while maintaining high standards of service and quality.

Compliance: Ensuring compliance with both regulatory and company standards, maintaining a safe and legal environment for patrons and staff.

Group Participation: Participating in and contributing to group management, marketing, and finance projects, bringing innovative ideas to the table.

Planning and Forecasting: Strong planning and forecasting ability in regards to local events and functions, ensuring the venue is well-prepared for peak times and special events.

About You

The successful applicant will:

Have suitable experience in hospitality management, with a track record of success in similar roles.

Possess a strong understanding of the hotel industry, market trends, customer service standards, and strategies to exceed them.

Demonstrate the ability to engage and build relationships with regular clientele, fostering loyalty and repeat business.

Exhibit strong business acumen, with the ability to make sound financial and operational decisions.

Present a professional manner and appearance, setting a positive example for the team.

Be available to work weekends and nights, ensuring coverage during peak times and special events.

Lead from the front and set the best examples, inspiring and motivating the team to achieve their best.

Hold the correct certificates and licenses, including a Gaming License & Modules & an RSA.
