Who We Are Looking For

You're a hands-on, passionate chef who leads from the front, loves creating great food, and thrives in a fast-paced, nature-rich environment.

To hit the ground running, you’ll bring:

A trade qualification and Food Safety Supervisor certification

Head Chef experience – or you’re a strong Sous ready to lead

Strong leadership, communication and time management skills

Intermediate admin and computer literacy skills

A current Blue Card (Working with Children), or willing to obtain

A valid driver’s licence and

Full Australian work rights

About the Role

As Head Chef, you’ll take charge of a lively bistro and café, designing delicious, seasonal menus that satisfy families, campers and event groups. You’ll be hands-on, leading a committed team to deliver fresh, high-quality meals in a relaxed, community-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead daily kitchen operations across our café and bistro

· Create fresh seasonal menus, takeaway meals & event catering

· Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene & safety

· Manage stock, ordering, food costs & budgets

· Mentor and support a team of kitchen staff

· Help deliver school camp catering one day per week

· Report directly to the Executive Chef
