Experience in this industry preferred, but not essential as we offer an extensive onboarding and training program to ensure you will be successful in the role.
Main Duties and Responsibilities, include but not limited to:
Overseeing the maintenance, calibration, and proper use of site equipment. Coordinating instrument calibrations, operational qualifications, and preventative maintenance in GMP equipment.
Dispatch - Scanning freight, accounting for freight, providing coverage for dispatch staff when they are on leave
Driver scheduling – routing jobs for drivers as needed, as well as dealing with driver queries and issues
Export operations –creating SLI, preparing labels and export pack for driver as needed
Credo packaging– Preparing and approving
Continuous improvement of QC processes
Dealing with sub-contractors and vendors
Airline bookings and other arrangements
Monitor all jobs daily to ensure TAT's and milestones are met.
Report status of shipments, expected ETAs and any potential delays
Co-ordinate shipments with ops department, agents & other Marken offices as required.
Review and approve risk assessment method statements
Communicate any issues or delays with client and all concerned parties
