What you’ll be doing:
Are you passionate about enhancing operational capabilities and making a tangible impact on community safety? Join the Rural Fire Service as a vital member of the Operational Training team based at the State Training Academy Dubbo. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of developing and delivering high-quality training programs to ensure our members are equipped to undertake their roles in an emergency services agency. Working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders your role will involve coordinating programs, managing projects, and leveraging corporate systems to support operational excellence. With a focus on fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture, you'll play a critical part in ensuring the RFS continues to meet the evolving needs of the community we serve.
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- Expertise in Training and Development: A proven ability to design, coordinate, and deliver high-quality operational training programs that equip individuals with the skills required to meet real-world challenges effectively
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: The capability to identify gaps, resolve complex issues, and improve processes, ensuring that operational capabilities are consistently enhanced
- Exceptional Stakeholder Management: Experience in collaborating with a diverse and geographically dispersed range of stakeholders, maintaining strong working relationships even in time-sensitive situations
- Leadership and Team Collaboration: Experience in mentoring team members, fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture, and driving outcomes that align with organisational goals
