About the role

As the Cyber Security Operations Coordinator for The Grounds of Alexandria, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of this vibrant and popular dining destination group. This full-time role will see you manage data security across the board, deliver an exceptional customer experience and contribute to the ongoing success of this renowned establishment.

What you'll be doing

Design, maintain and manage data security protocols, data structures and master data files.

Configure and integrate data security systems, including firewalls and master file protections.

Perform system tests, apply upgrades, debug issues, and track data exports to identify problems and improve script quality.

Accept operational responsibilities and manage system processes effectively.

Liaise with third-party security vendors (e.g., CCTV, firewalls, and related services) to ensure consistent security standards.

Provide technical guidance to the director and develop training plans for system users.

Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions; resolve technical issues promptly.

Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for all issues, updates, and system changes.

Monitor network performance and promptly report any server-related issues.

Continuously observe network and database activities to detect and prevent future anomalies.

What we're looking for

Relevant qualification is required.

Significant experience (5+ years) in a similar role, preferably within a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively work alone.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting

Thorough understanding of data security and regulations.
