As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Engage with clients to understand their strategic goals and translate them into actionable system and process requirements.
Conduct discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to gather insights into client operations, challenges, and improvement areas.
Evaluate current client business workflows to identify pain points and propose data-driven improvements.
Collaborate with clients to prioritise features and enhancements that align with their business objectives and ROI expectations.
Prepare and present tailored recommendations to improve digital systems, operational performance, and customer experience.
Develop structured documentation outlining business needs, technical specifications, and system requirements for delivery teams.
Design visual process maps, data models, and workflow diagrams to support solution design and client understanding.
Lead the end-to-end implementation of client solutions, ensuring all project phases stay aligned with agreed outcomes and timelines.
Coordinate testing efforts, including functional validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution on client-facing systems.
Deliver customised training sessions, system walkthroughs, and onboarding programs to support client teams post-deployment.
Build ongoing client relationships by offering continuous support, troubleshooting, and recommendations for system enhancements.
Assist project managers by contributing to scoping documents, risk assessments, timelines, and resource plans tailored to client projects.
Collaborate closely with development and UX teams to ensure technical solutions reflect both client feedback and best practices.
Monitor performance metrics and user feedback after solution rollout to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for iteration.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Australian recognised Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and/or
5+ years of experience as an ICT Business Analyst
Strong technical understanding of business systems, software development lifecycles, and process optimisation.
Proficient with tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Project, SQL, Python, C#, and JavaScript.
Microsoft PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) certification will be an added advantage.
Certification in Cloud Computing and Security will be an added advantage.
Exceptional communication - you can talk strategy with executives and data models with developers.
