Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support their Cyber Security Program. The initial project assignments will focus on the Multi-Factor Authentication and Privileged Access Management projects, delivering a high level of specialist business analysis services. While these will be the primary focus, the flexible resource model in place may see you contributing to additional initiatives during your contract period, either alongside or in place of the initial assignments.
ROLE
You will:
- Proactively manage stakeholder relationships and lead business/technical workshops to define requirements and business processes
- Obtain formal agreement on scope, translating requirements into features, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Act as a single point of contact for defined stakeholder groups, facilitating open communication and collaboration
- Conduct investigative work to identify business needs and recommend improvements to systems, processes, and organisational practices
- Own and drive solution design, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and stakeholder expectations
- Identify and support remediation plans for unclear or inconsistent business practices that may impact project success
- Ensure traceability is established and maintained for all business benefits through to system requirements
- Contribute to organisational change by recommending process, procedure, and system improvements
- Use structured research and analysis techniques to document ICT business and system requirements
- Apply business modelling methods to deliver structured, reusable outcomes to support project initiatives and executive decisions
- Manage client expectations effectively in a resource-limited, high-priority environment
- Oversee development cycles, coordinate with vendor development teams, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of outcomes
YOU
Must have:
- Demonstrated well-developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, including the demonstrated experience in conducting workshops, maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, ICT Operators and other service providers.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and validating multiple requirement types such as Business, systems, configuration and concept and experience modelling business processes using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN).
- Demonstrated ability to analyse business cases, which define potential benefits, options for achieving these benefits through development of new or change processes and associated business risk
- Demonstrated experience and practical understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and PRINCE2 Project Management methodologies. (SDLC & PRINCE2 Methodologies)
