Business Analyst – 12-Month Contract
Location: Strathpine, QLD
Rate: $54.05 per hour + Super

We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our government client on a 12-month contract. This role will focus on driving business process improvements, technology enablement, and corporate system implementations to deliver greater efficiency and service outcomes across the organisation.

What you’ll be doing:

• Analyse and document business requirements (functional and non-functional) for ICT and corporate projects.
• Map, model, and redesign business processes to identify opportunities for automation, cost savings, and improved service delivery.
• Conduct feasibility assessments, develop business cases, and evaluate cost/benefit and risk analysis for proposed solutions.
• Translate complex analysis into actionable insights for stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ICT, project managers, and executives, to ensure successful outcomes.
• Support project planning, user acceptance testing, and training design.

What we’re looking for:

• Substantial experience as a Business Analyst on enterprise-level ICT or corporate projects.
• Strong skills in business process design, modelling, and benefits realisation.
• Proven ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent time management, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Government experience and Business Analysis certifications will be highly regarded.
