Miss Curtains is a forward-thinking window furnishing company based across the Gold Coast and Brisbane. We specialise in custom-made curtains, blinds, shutters and motorised systems, delivering exceptional service to homeowners, designers, and commercial projects.
We are now seeking a highly capable Operations & Administration Assistant who can become the heart of our daily operations – someone who doesn’t just ‘do the job’, but takes ownership, solves problems and keeps everything running smoothly.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full-time, in-office role (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM). You will be based primarily in the Showroom at 5/80 Ebbern St, Darra QLD 4076
As our Reception & Administration Assistant, you will:
Be the first point of contact for clients – by phone, email, and in person
Manage schedules, follow up on orders, and liaise with our sales and installation teams
Coordinate administrative tasks and ensure our office operations run smoothly
Learn and troubleshoot new systems (CRM, quoting, internal platforms)
Support the team leader with task coordination and daily operations

MUST-HAVES
Excellent communication and organisational skills
High computer literacy – Microsoft Office, email, and ability to learn new systems quickly
Full Australian working rights
Driver’s licence and own transport
Confidence to liaise with clients and manage occasional issues professionally
