Benefits:

  • 7 days on, 7 days off schedule;
  • Monday to Friday: Fixed hours from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, followed by on-call hours from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
  • Weekends and Public Holidays: on-call hours from 6:30 am to 8:30 pm.
  • Annual Pay rate between $70,000 - $75,000 (pro-rata);
  • Work from home comfort;

About the role:

We're seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our dynamic team as On-Call Coordinator. This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring seamless continuity of care for our clients, all while enjoying the flexibility and comfort of a work-from-home schedule. As an On-Call Coordinator on our team, you'll work a unique 7-day rotation that allows you to dedicate one full week to your personal life and passions, followed by a week of focused work. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a central point of contact for after-hours communication, fostering strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Proactively manage and resolve client and staff incidents, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Coordinate cover for unplanned staff absences and maintain service delivery during the off-hours.
  • Bridge the gap between schedulers, coordinators, team leaders, and direct care staff, promoting a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality standards, delivering the highest level of care to our clients.
  • Securely manage client information with precision and timeliness.
  • Work alongside dedicated schedulers, coordinators, team leaders, and direct care staff in a supportive and communicative atmosphere.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in coordinating and/or scheduling community services or similar roles.
  • Well-developed communication skills both verbal and written and interpersonal skills to develop effective relationships and resolve client and staff issues.
  • Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care standards, reablement approach to care and the quality improvement process.
  • Demonstrated computer / Microsoft Office skills incorporating data base managed services.
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise workload.
  • Current Police clearance.
