My Supports
Posted 1 day ago
Led by individuals with firsthand experience of disability, My Supports is a national organisation with a strong commitment to empowering communities. With teams across Australia, our staff share a vision of delivering meaningful, person-centred supports that make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
The Role
Our model of service delivery hinges on the pivotal role of Neighborhood Team Leaders, who act as a bridge connecting clients to their local communities.
Based in Narrabri, New South Wales, working part-time, 4 days a week (0.8FTE), you'll grow and lead a dynamic Neighbourhood Team of Support Workers and manage Support Coordination to ensure our clients receive exceptional person-centred support.
Fully remote but based in the local community, this role will work from home while acting as the beacon of local knowledge for our clients, connecting people to local services. Your role will include client outreach and growth, providing client support, ensuring quality and safeguarding, and fostering the development of your team.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting clients to achieve their goals through strength-based and person-centred planning.
Coordinating NDIS packages and fostering meaningful community connections for clients.
Rostering, leading and inspiring a team of local Support Workers to deliver exceptional services.
What We’re Looking For
You are:
Passionate about making a difference, with experience in disability support or the NDIS.
A natural leader and communicator, able to inspire your team and build strong connections with families, stakeholders, and the broader community.
Experienced in support coordination and committed to person-centred approaches.
Dedicated to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in everything you do.
Perks & Benefits
Flexible working options: community-based with opportunities to work from home.
A unique blend of local and national focus: enjoy the support of a national organisation while staying connected to your community.
