EAT PIEROGI MAKE LOVE! is a Polish restaurant/bar in Brunswick East. It is a part of the larger Pierogi Pierogi group that has made its name over the last decade in food markets, events and catering.

This venue is a real opportunity for us to make a splash on the local dining scene and a great chance for new staff to get in on the ground floor and help shape our work community and culture.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our Team.

Responsibilities:

Food preparation in line with recipes and instructions in a timely manner

Managing prep levels and stock ordering

Maintaining food health and safety standards and company policies and procedures

Ensuring the quality and consistency is kept at highest possible standards

Assisting in maintaining food and wage cost targets

Assisting in menu development and weekly specials - according to season, supply and inspiration

Supervising and training less senior staff members

Requirements:

At least 3 years experience in a similar role

Proven ability to manage a section effectively during service

Communication skills

Effective time management and organisational skills

Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen
