About the Role
As the Demand & Supply Planner, you will facilitate and own the end-to-end planning process for consumables, spare parts, and media portfolios. You’ll play a pivotal role in inventory control, supplier coordination, and 3PL oversight, while maintaining strong internal stakeholder communication and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Oversee stock across multiple locations (including 3PLs, engineers, and returns). Monitor stock levels, set parameters, and analyse stock performance.
- Demand Planning: Forecast supply needs in line with business requirements. Lead monthly planning meetings and deliver inventory insights.
- Supplier & Logistics Coordination: Manage supplier relationships, raise and track purchase orders, and resolve variances to ensure smooth operations.
- Process Ownership: Lead full ANZ stocktakes, reduce excess inventory, and recommend improvements to minimise provisions.
- Systems & Reporting: Work within ERP systems (SAP essential) and generate data-driven reports to support decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain timely and concise communication with internal teams and external partners across the supply chain.
Your Profile
- At least 2 years’ experience in Demand Planning, with exposure to Supply Planning in a national environment.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory management, stock planning, and supply chain processes. Confident working with ERP systems (SAP essential).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
- Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
