Our client, Mellink Import & Export, is a proudly family-owned business based in Derrimut, Melbourne. Specialising in high-quality imports from Indonesia, Mellink supplies organic fertiliser to farmers and a curated selection of furniture and kids’ clothing to retailers across Australia.

As the business continues to grow, Mellink is seeking an experienced and hands-on Supply and Distribution Manager to lead their logistics operations, streamline processes, and support ongoing expansion across multiple product lines.

About the Role This senior role offers a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing business. You will take charge of the full supply chain — managing imports, inventory, warehousing, and distribution — while working closely with a tight-knit leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and manage logistics and supply chain strategies

· Coordinate international freight, customs clearance, and compliance

· Oversee inventory control and optimise stock management

· Lead warehouse operations including receiving, fulfilment, and dispatch

· Liaise with freight providers, suppliers, and B2B customers

· Track shipments and delivery performance across all stages

· Maintain accurate documentation for import/export activities

Skills and Experience

· Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree that is highly relevant to the occupation

· Experience: 1 year previous experience in a similar role or industry

· Proven experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain management

· Strong knowledge of international freight and customs processes

· Ability to manage diverse product categories efficiently

· Experience with inventory and warehouse management systems
