We are an established investigative services company, specialising in helping employers manage workplace bullying and sexual harassment complaints for over 14 years.

We are seeking experienced subcontract investigators to join our panel and assist with investigation assignments on a project-by-project basis.
The Role
As a Subcontract Workplace Investigator, you will be engaged on a flexible basis to conduct timely, independent investigations into workplace misconduct matters. You will gather evidence, interview parties and witnesses, analyse facts, and produce high-quality reports with findings of fact and recommendations as required.
You will work autonomously while receiving professional support from our experienced team.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
A current Private Investigator's Licence (in your state or territory).
Minimum Certificate III in Investigative Services
Demonstrated experience conducting investigations into workplace misconduct complainats such as workplace bullying, sexual harassment, discrimination and other code of conduct breaches.
You should also have;
A strong understanding of procedural fairness, natural justice and workplace legislation.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to conduct sensitive interviews with empathy and neutrality.
Strong written communication and analytical skills, with the ability to prepare clear, factual and logical reports.
High attention to detail, discretion, and professional integrity.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Availability for short-term engagements, occasionally at short notice.
Professional indemnity insurance (minimum $2 million coverage)
Reliable high-speed internet connection and secure home office setup for confidential work
Ability to pass police background check and maintain security clearance if required
Must be based in Brisbane or, if outside Brisbane, willing to travel to Brisbane at own expense for Brisbane-based assignments
Desirable
Certificate IV in Government Investigations or higher.
Qualifications or experience in HR, law, psychology, or industrial relations.
Experience working within or for public sector or regulated environments.
Trauma-informed interviewing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct procedurally fair and impartial investigations into workplace complaints.
Interview complainants, respondents, and witnesses using trauma-informed and ethical approaches.
Analyse evidence and assess credibility in accordance with legal principles and procedural fairness.
Prepare comprehensive, well-written investigation reports.
Manage investigations efficiently and within agreed timelines.
