About the Opportunity
PAMS is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Rostering and Logistics Officer to support the smooth delivery of clinical and community health services by coordinating rosters and travel logistics for staff across Newman and remote sites.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this vital role will liaise with internal teams and external agencies to manage workforce scheduling, ensure travel and accommodation arrangements align with operational needs, and maintain high standards of compliance and communication.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Demonstrated experience in rostering or coordinating logistics within health, aged care, or community services settings; high-volume healthcare scheduling experience is highly regarded.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across diverse teams.
Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines, and operate effectively in fast-paced environments.
Proficiency in using rostering platforms, HRIS, or other workforce management systems.
Resourceful and solution-focused, with the ability to navigate and resolve complex rostering challenges.
Strong commitment to cultural safety, with experience supporting or working alongside Aboriginal communities.
High level of attention to detail and sound understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in clinical workforce planning.
Desirable:
Experience in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO).
Familiarity with AHPRA registration processes and Rural Health West requirements.
Knowledge of workforce compliance obligations and employment awards.
Current WA Manual C-Class Driver’s Licence.
